Below is a plat filed in the 1850's that shows the fort location (See the numeral 1 in the center of the map). Michael Daum has offered to use his historical Dallas survey maps to confirm location of the plat and the governor's mansion (fort).

Hello - I'm a La Reunion colonist descendant looking to connect with others. Are you connected in any way, or could you point me in the direction of someone who could help me find others?
