More Maps

The first map is from the UTA Eloise Santerre collection. The finder's guide identifies it as "a photocopy of a map prepared by Bruno Verlet of Paris, France, which shows the La Reunion Colony home sites positioned on a 1990 Dallas, Texas, street map."

(You can enlarge the maps by clicking on them.)

The map below is from the Forster book.

The map below is from Santerre's White Cliffs of Dallas.

Below is a plat filed in the 1850's that shows the fort location (See the numeral 1 in the center of the map). Michael Daum has offered to use his historical Dallas survey maps to confirm location of the plat and the governor's mansion (fort).

Hello - I'm a La Reunion colonist descendant looking to connect with others. Are you connected in any way, or could you point me in the direction of someone who could help me find others? I heard at one point there is a group that gets together every few years, but I haven't found it/them. Thank you!
